The piece was inspired by the need to enlarge the space and turn the damage into something beautiful. I had the freedom to decide on the subject and tromp l’oeil seemed like the answer. The mural faces a built-in wardrobe with mirrored doors, which made the room vibrant and enlarged the space even more. The floorboards depicted in the piece were designed to echo the floors in the room, becoming a true extension of the space.
