Michelle is a cross-disciplinary designer, creative generalist and artist with a focus on digital design. With 10+ years of experiences in various areas of design including in-house and freelance roles in Fashion & Textiles and Bespoke Rug Design, as well as other elements of design & marketing within her work.
Her background includes a BA of Design (hon) in Fashion and Textiles, along with training in UI design from Academy Xi, Front-end Wed Development from General Assembly, and additional training in search engine and digital marketing. Michelle left her full-time Lead Designer position at Cadrys Rugs to pursue self-employment as demand for a variety of freelance work she was already undertaking increased.
Some of these include designing websites/UI for a variety of projects, mural art, live caricature and face painting for events, commissioned art & illustrations, tattoo design and a variety of other creative work with opportunity to learn.
Inspired by music, dance, technology and nature, hobbies include bouldering, dancing, singing, ice skating, playing the violin, and anything related to cars and cats.
